A childhood passion for fashion & textile led Bhumika to study at NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) while Shyamal researched fashion in London & Milan. Their love for fashion started at a very young age & resulted in a quintessential blend of creativity & commerce, which has positioned the brand amongst the top in the world of South Asian fashion today. Their debut at fashion week in 2006 made the fashion industry & media look up & notice their exquisite work.

Early in their career, the house was nominated for Best Indian Wear by Marie Claire at the Indian Fashion Awards. This was followed by a landmark moment, the Golden Jubilee fashion showcase for the Gujarat Cancer Society, an initiative that seamlessly blended couture with cause.

In recognition of their contribution, the designers were felicitated by none other than the current Honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, reflecting the impact of their work beyond the realm of fashion.
